Rescheduling a Game
As Intramural Sports utilizes an instant scheduling format which allows teams to select their regular season play times and days, regular season contests will not be rescheduled. To avoid a forfeit, be certain your team is informed of its play schedule and has at least the minimum number of players required to play present. It is a good idea to bring extra players! During playoffs, game dates/times vary. In the case of dire emergencies, playoff games may be rescheduled if time and facility space allows.
Rescheduling Playoff Games
In order to reschedule a playoff game, the Team Captain requesting the reschedule must visit the Intramural Sports office well in advance of the contest. The requesting captain will be given play options and contact information for the opposing team. The requesting captain is responsible for contacting the opposing captain and collectively agreeing on one of the options. Both captains must then contact the Intramural Sports office to confirm the reschedule. Until CRS receives confirmation from BOTH Team Captains, it is assumed the contest will be played as originally scheduled. All reschedules must be done prior to 2:00pm on the day of your scheduled game.
Reschedules by the Intramural Staff
Some uncontrollable situations necessitate the rescheduling of games by the Intramural Sports staff. Examples of such situations include weather, facility problems, or last minute facility schedule changes. The Intramural Staff will attempt to reschedule such games to everyone's satisfaction. Any schedule changes will be posted on the Armory Bulletin Boards.
