The Aquatics program and facilities are popular with University of Maryland students, faculty and staff. The Aquatics program offers structured events and activities including Water Safety classes, CPR, Learn-To-Swim, Master Swimming, and Water Aerobics. It also offers informal recreation opportunities such as Diving and Lap Swimming.
The Aquatics facilities consist of the Natatorium (indoor pool) and the Outdoor Aquatic Center (outdoor pool). These facilities not only support the Aquatics program, but are used to host Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving events, Sport Clubs competitions/practice and numerous other special events.
