Here are a few pointers/tips for race day.
The first wave of swimmers (advanced) will go off at 7a.
The second wave of swimmers (intermediate) will go off at approx 7:15a.
The third wave of swimmers (beginner) will go off at approx 7:30a.
The relay swimmers will go off with the first wave (advanced) of swimmers at 7:00a.
All swimmers will be given a swim cap that corresponds to a particular wave. You must swim in your assigned wave.
The pool will be open for warm up from 6a til 6:40a.
Participants are required to count their own laps (8) of the swim course.
*Advanced swimmers should be able to complete a 500 yard swim in under 9 minutes. Intermediate swimmers should be able to complete a 500 yard swim in under 16 minutes.
All bikers must have their own bikes and helmets. Helmets will not be provided to any participants.
The course will be marked with arrows (white) but participants are expected to know the course without having to rely on course markers.
Participants are required to count their own laps (4) of the course.
Bikers may mount their bikes after the mount line at the boundary of the transition area upon exit of T1.
Bikers must dismount their bikes before the mount line at the boundary of the transition area into T2.
Race bibs must be displayed at all times on the bike course.
The bike course will be open for warm up from 6a till 6:40a.
There will be two water/ aid stations on the bike course for your convenience. The staff at these stations will be in contact with race staff if you have an issue and need assistance.
The run course goes out to a turn around point and returns to the finish.
The course will be marked with arrows (white) but participants are expected to know the course without having to rely on course markers.
Runners are advised to stay on sidewalks and running trails on the run course.
Race bibs must be displayed at all times on the run course.
The run course will be open for warm up from 6a till 6:40a.
There will be a water/ aid station on the run course for your convenience. The staff at this station will be in contact with race staff if you have an issue and need assistance.
Transition will be open for racking of bikes from 5:40a till 6:40a.
There will be no racking of bikes allowed after 6:40a.
Each bike rack holds 8 bikes.
There will be no changing area in transition.
There will be no riding of bikes in the transition area.
Only participants will be allowed in the transition area after 6:40a and until the race is completed.
There will be volunteers monitoring the transition area but participants are encouraged to leave valuables with family and friends.
Participants are required to collect their timing chips between 6a and 6:40a on the morning of the race. There will be a table set up next to transition for this purpose.
Participants are welcome to use the locker rooms in the pool area.

Registration is now open until April 15 and may be done online, in person or by mail.
There is a limit of 150 participants and registration is first come, first served, so register early .
Three components are needed to complete your registration:

- Waiver: download and return via mail

Requirements
- All Participants must download and read our Event Rules then print and sign the Waiver. Minors (16 years and older) wishing to compete must have a Parent/ Guardian sign the Parental Waiver.
- Helmets required for ALL riders!
- Race begins at 7:00 a.m.!
- Free bike tune-ups are available through the Campus Bike Shop located on the lower level of Cole Field House. Shop is open Mon-Fri., 2-8pm.
